This is one of the findings of the new report, which surveyed various issues for more than 2,000 people.

Two of the questions are: "Now suppose you want to buy a new game console, you will consider buying the following? Which one of the following are you most likely to buy?"

The report concluded that 25% of respondents said they would consider Stadia as an option and 19% might buy it.

However, this makes Stadia fall behind Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's next-generation Xbox game console.

Forty-one percent of respondents said they are likely to buy PlayStation 5, while only 24% said they would share the same view of the next generation of Xbox.

This makes Microsoft's next console closer to Stadia, which could be even worse.

However, another survey conducted by the UK survey also showed that the commitment to purchase Stadia is most evident among higher game consumers and PC gamers, with console owners having the least commitment.

This is definitely a reflection in 2019, but it should also bring some insights.

Now, we don't know what the new PS5 will look like, and we can't be sure what Microsoft plans for their new Xbox console.
