Polysilicon or simply poly is a popular solar model that is made of numerous crystals as the name suggests, though it has lesser uses as compared to the efficient monocrystalline solar panel. It is also cheaper to make these models of solar. A good example of this kind of solar panel is the photovoltaic cells, which are cheaper in terms of costs but with lower efficiency because they are poorly controlled.
