Ditch the roller bag

With a roller bag, one thing is for sure – you only get to travel on flat surfaces. Be more mobile than that. get a backpack or a duffel bag with shoulder straps and thank us later. Plus, if you have a day extra and feel like taking a nearby trek, you will be glad you did not bring your uptight bag.

Get your bag checked

Be the last one to board the plane

Early boarding is considered to be a reward but have you ever stopped to wonder why? Who wants to be seated in a plane any more than they have to? To start off the Wi-Fi does not work even if the plane is grounded. On the other hand, if you are merely sitting there every one will have boarded and you will not have to wait in long ques. If you are lucky, they may even call your name a couple of times. Much better option is there is an airport bar nearby.

Listen to an audio book

We all know that CNN at the airports is terrible. Listening to that every morning is only going to wreck your brains. No wonder, no one wants to hear constant courtesy calls to fellow passengers. Its important that these things are shut out. It is hence suggested that you get an audio book and listen to it all the time.

Use slip on shoes

Dressing up on a business trip should not be a pain. Carry on a pair slip on shoes and save time relacing again and again.

Get window seats on airplane

This should be obvious. Use time on your flight to relax. So, take a window seat so you don’t have to get up again and again for fellow passengers.

Opt for aisle seats in restaurant

If you are a regular business traveller, especially to US, chances are you will be running into lot of people you know on a regular basis. Hence, choose seats that face the terminal hallway.

Charge your gadgets

It is suggested that you begin your day with full battery in your iPad, smartphones and laptops. You can even opt for an external power bank if you think you will be on the move.
Chill and enjoy

You will eventually get there. So, it is better to chill and enjoy. Even if you are working you are still travelling, hopefully an international business travel, so, take a moment and indulge in the excitement that a travel offers. Remember, never lose on the sense of adventure.
