Airport Procedures After Arrival In Cheap Flights To Antalya
Chosen as the Best Airport in Europe by the Airports Council International, the only global trade representative of the world’s airport authorities, Antalya Airport is Turkey's third busiest airport. It is one of the major airports in the south-western part of the country. The construction of this airport was started in the year 1996. It handles more than 18 million passengers, making it the 30th-busiest airport in the European region. Today, the airport has three terminals, which include one domestic and two international terminals.
Upon booking any of the cheap flights to Antalya, you'll have greater savings to be utilised during your time spent in the Turkish city. However, before arriving at the airport, you must check in advance whether your travel documents are valid or whether you need to have an entry visa for the country. If you're in the city for a holiday, you must check whether your passport is valid at least until the end of your stay. In the arrival hall, there are visa desks before the passport check, in order to facilitate the visa procedures for individuals from the countries subject to visa regulations.
After you arrive at the airport in any of the flights to Antalya and the passport check is done, you need to proceed towards the baggage reclaim area. You have free baggage trolleys available at this spot. If you need any assistance at this point, you'll have to contact your airline or the appropriate ground handler. Once the baggage reclaim procedure is done, you'll have to pass through customs. If you have nothing to declare you'll not need any further inspection and can use the green zone. You'll have to go through the red customs point if you possess goods that are subject to customs procedures.
If you've lost something at the airport after your arrival in any of the flights to Antalya, you'll be assisted by the 'Lost and Found' offices of the airport. The Lost and Found office at the Terminal must be contacted if you think you've left your belongings in front of any terminal, gate area, car park, terminal entry points, or check-in area. If you've lost your belongings in flight or at the baggage reclaim carousel, you must contact the Lost and Found office of the Ground Services. This office can also be contacted if your baggage is found to be damaged or has certain items missing.
The Antalya airport and your airline offer many services that would make your trip hassle-free if you're travelling with your entire family, including children. A playground for children is located at Terminals 1 and 2, while the baby changing rooms can be found in all the terminals of the airport. Your kids would have many activities at the airport to make their time spent at the terminals truly pleasant and full of fun. Many of the shops offer attractive toys and some restaurants at the airport have special meals for the little guests on their menus. The children travelling alone are accompanied by the staff from the check-in desk to the aircraft.
