Hawken proposes a model of the economy that acknowledge the interdependency between the production and use of human capital and the sustainable maintenance of the natural capital. The economy model envisions a situation where there is the minimal destruction of natural resources, minimal emission of greenhouse gasses, minimal destruction of forest and the preservation of biodiversity.
