Most of us don't realise that Gastro intestinal tract is what is responsible for stomach problems such as diarrhea and constipation. It all starts from there and ends there itself. If you eat right food you can maintain your GI tract in good condition and create a difference to it.

We don't realise it until we are suffering from constipation and diarrhea. Every thing we eat and drink passes through the GI tract and may influence the way your GI tract works too. Alcohol such as beer may cause diarrhea if it is not followed by good food. Through out your life there are bacteria that grow and carry out their metabolism. To maintain the microbial balance it is essential to have good food and keep your gut in good condition. These bacteria may be good or bad and they may excrete beneficial and non-beneficial compounds into the gut. It is up to you, to add good bacteria in your GI tract. The gut bacteria present in the GI will co-ordinate with the liver and create an immune response.

Fermented products such as curds, cheese, kefir, sprouted grams, acidophilus milk have a lot of friendly bacteria in them. These are useful ...
... and can shover host of benefits on you. Improve the gut health, prevent diarrhea, ease the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and increase the enzymes which helps to absorb the essential nutrients present in the food.

Studies also revealed that women who are over weight and have a tendency to gain more weight have higher levels of E coli. And there are very little beneficial bacteria than the ones with normal weight. This means that beneficial bacteria also have a role to play in weight gain and loss.
Probiotic bacteria could either be ingested orally, through a tube that directly feeds into the body intestines or through other therapeutic ways that may be advised to you by your doctor. However, one should not always rush for the oral method because research has it that, although the method has been rendered safe to use by many people and even the world health organization recommended it, in situations involving critically ill patients, the method is perceived to be very harmful.
Studies show that probiotics helps to maintain a healthy intestinal tract and fight illnesses and diseases. When your lower intestine will contain at least 85% of probiotic or good bacteria, then, they can prevent the effect of the 15% of disease causing microorganisms or bad bacteria.
