State Bank of India conducts a Recruitment Drive for the post of Probationary Officers every year. Expected SBI PO Vacancies 2019
In the previous year State Bank of India released an SBI Recruitment Notification stating 2000 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officers. According to statistics, this year the State Bank of India is expected to release a notification with more than 2000 vacancies.
Though the official notification has not yet come but you can still take an idea from the category - wise sbi po vacancy list of 2018.
As per last year ...
... notification total number of vacancies for Scheduled Caste was 300.
For Scheduled Tribe (ST) it was 150.
Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes were reserved with 540 vacancies.
Whereas, General category candidates were eligible for 1010 vacancies.
SBI PO Upcoming Exam Dates 2019 (Tentative)
Even though the Official Notification for SBI PO Recruitment 2019 is yet not out but Tentative Exam dates have been released. According to tentative notification, the online application will commence somewhere from 3rd week of April. The online application process will be live till 2nd week of May 2019.
The SBI PO Admit Card for Prelims 2019 will be released in 3rd week of June 2019.
The SBI PO Prelims Exam will be held in 1st week of July 2019.
After the SBI PO prelims exam are conducted it is expected that SBI PO prelims result will be declared in 2nd week of July 2019.
All the candidates who clear SBI PO prelims Exam will be shortlisted for SBI PO Mains.
The SBI PO Mains Admit card will be released in 3rd week of July 2019 and the SBI PO Mains Exam will be held in 1st week of August 2019.
The Declaration of Result for SBI PO Mains 2019 will be done somewhere around September 2019 and the Final Result will be declared in the 1st week of November 2019.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Prelims Exam has three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability
.
Total number of questions in English Language are 30 and the maximum marks will be 30.
The Numerical Ability will have 35 questions and max marks will be 35.
Like Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability too will have 35 questions with same marks allocation.
There is a sectional timing of 20 minutes for each section.
The total number of questions are 100 and the total marks are 100 too.
SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Mains Exam comprises of three sections Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language.
Total number of questions in Reasoning & Computer Aptitude are 45 and the maximum marks will be 60.
The Data Analysis & Interpretation will have 35 questions and max marks will be 60.
General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness will have 40 questions with 40 marks.
Lastly, the English Language will hae 35 questions of 40 marks.
The total number of questions that will be asked in SBI PO Mains exam will be 155 of 200 marks.
2. Practice, Practice, Practice!
You have enough time to start putting your efforts to steer the results in your direction. Attempt as many mock tests as possible to get accustomed with the exam pattern and type of questions.
3. Make a Study Plan
Take the SBI PO Syllabus and divide it accordingly among the days left in the exam. Don't forget to give sufficient time to revision and mock tests. Make a day - wise plan and strike off the things at the end of the day. Also, stick to this Study Plan.
