LG launched its first 5G phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G and the LG G8 ThinQ. The LG V50 ThinQ 5G features a 6.4-inch QHD + OLED FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It also provides surround sound for DTS:X technology.

The camera has video depth control that keeps moving objects in focus and uses dual field of view technology for depth analysis. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and runs on the latest Android 9 PIE OS.

It has a 4,000mAh battery and a new Vapor Chamber cooling system that is more efficient than traditional heat pipes, keeps the internal temperature low, and supports continuous application processing. The only color announced so far is black. In addition, LG announced the availability of optional dual-screen accessories. The 6.2-inch OLED display allows multiple applications to run simultaneously, provides multitasking, and can be used as a dedicated controller for select games.
