Eli Lilly and company ethical code tend to be comprehensive and also accurate in achieving the appropriate ethical operating standards. In the organization, the ethical code tends to cover the employee’s responsibilities. The employees also indicate their willingness of offering information to the auditors in case they get inappropriate information from the organization. The ethical code of the company does require that the staff working in the company must always report any incidents of fraud activities happening in the company to the management and also to the auditors. Based on an analysis of the company’s ethical code, it is right to claim that the code is appropriate and also comprehensive for the effective performance of the organization. The company’s code of ethics does show a similarity with that of my organization. In both of the companies, they require that the employees should be able to report any cases of fraud to the auditors and also the management of the organization. When comparing the company code to the one from my organization, the employees are supported to ensure that they work in good faith and ...
... demonstrate good behavior. In both organizations, the code requires that the employees have a professional and personal role in performing their tasks as it is expected by the company, community, and the state.
The ethical codes for financial management are essential to the success of the organization. The code of ethics normally acts as the guideline to ensure that the employees do have an idea regarding their powers and also their responsibilities (Choi et al. 2013). The code can be considered as a directive principle for the organization management and employee in respect to their conduct as it relates to financial management.
