Artwork

Swierzy worked in the commercial art sector, involving himself in design for exhibitions, books, illustrations and, of course, poster art, for which he is now famous. For a while he was President of International Poster Biennale in Warsaw and he also became a member of Alliance Graphique International. Although he grew up in Poland, his biggest influences were from the USA, notably films, jazz musicians, gamblers and gangsters. Exhibitions of his artwork appeared all over the world, including Russia, Brazil and the USA. He has received numerous awards and produced well over a thousand posters. His artwork for sale includes paintings of Marilyn Monroe and the Blues Brothers.
