Before discussing more about what to do in London it is important to understand that visiting London during the Easter Holidays is the best way to get the most out of your time in this exciting capital city of England. In the year 2010, Easter officially begins from Friday 2nd April and ends on Monday 5th April.

This is a period that has great significance for all Englishmen and women and it is also a time in the year when splendid ceremonies are held in the best churches in England including in London. A good example of enjoying things to do in London would therefore require paying a visit to St Pauls Cathedral or Westminster Abbey, where the most extravagant ceremonies will be held during Easter.

Madame Tussauds is sure to figure very high up on the list of things related to what to do in London. This is indeed a great place to spend your afternoons as there are sure to be many wax models of the most famous and well known personalities in history awaiting your attention, and it is also a perfect place to bring your entire family to enjoy some great entertaining moments in London.

... in the London Eye which provides a panoramic view of all of London. You can follow this by taking a trip down to the heart of London where you can see the most extraordinary palace in the world which of course is none other than Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the Queen of England. With luck, you can also time your visit here to coincide with the changing of the guards, which is a spectacular ceremony which takes place a few times during the week.

If you wish to learn about what to do in London and which does not cost you a penny, then you should head across to Museum in Docklands that offers free entrance to kids and adults alike. And, if this is too stead for you and you want your adrenaline to shoot through your veins then why not consider participating in the Easter Skate Extravaganza that offers you a chance to skate for all of seventeen miles past some of the most interesting attractions in all of London. This is an event that only begins on Easter Friday.

London is famous for street performers that typically are found performing around Covent Garden. These street performances are very special and interesting. You do not need to pay to see them perform but courtesy certainly demands making a token payment or even a few pounds will be much appreciated.

Trafalgar Square is certainly a tourist hotspot and so must be included in any list of what to do in London. This square was erected in the middle of the nineteenth century and it is very popular for tourists who throng not only to the square but who also enjoy the bars and restaurants and shopping opportunities that abound here.

Kensington Gardens holds the statue of Peter Pan and is certainly a great place to bring your kids to. It is located next to the famous Hyde Park that is yet another place that is worth visiting. Finally, be sure to check out the many museums in London that provide a great thrill for adults as well as for kids.
