Most people go through a stage where they think about what career they would want to venture on. For a teenager like you, you must have also dreamed to be a part of the modeling industry just like most of your friends. ... that you are. Always be conscious of the clothes you wear. People are usually noticed by their dress and the way they carry it. Your clothes do not have to be a designer one nor do they have to be expensive. People will be more concerned on how gracefully you carry your clothes and not their brands. Do not be afraid to mix and match. Practice your fashion sense every day as you dress up for school, to the malls, or when going out with your friends. Remember that your personal style will bring you closer to your dreams.

* Experiment. As part of your preparation for your entry to the world of modeling, it requires you to be confident in trying new things such as new hairstyle or the confidence to wear fashion accessories most young models wear. Do not be afraid to wear colors you are not comfortable wearing. Try new things because that is what this industry is all about: wearing and putting on things that other people your age won?t have the courage to wear.

* Be seen. Watch fashion shows or you can join fashion or modeling contests. Try to attend events and get as much exposure and as many friends as you can during these events. Most young models started out by getting as many contacts as they can in the industry. The larger your network is, the bigger your chance to be contacted should they need aspiring young models like you.

* Promote yourself. Post your profile including your professionally taken photographs on credible websites. Most talents scouts look at these online modeling websites for potential young models they can develop. Who knows, they might spot you and take you to your dream career.
