When you think of a marriage or some festival where you have to gift something to someone, more often than not you tend to ponder over the big list of gift items available on the internet. Gifts for women, if it's a jewel, are quite easy to get. A ring, earring or a pendant does the job. What about the gentleman in question? And with the whole world going vintage, what options do you have? Vintage brooches emerge as a very good choice.

Vintage brooches are classic artworks on gold and silver with intricate and elaborate designs. They can be paired up with any classic dress for both men and women. Perhaps the main reason that a man would like to have a brooch is because of its uniqueness. The exquisite designs engraved on them cannot be easily replicated or duplicated. Hence, every brooch has an aura of its own that gives its owner the sense of uniqueness that's makes him stand out of the crowd.

Vintage brooches come with a variety of designs on them. One can find a brooch for every age group for both the sexes. It is not a problem to find the best fit for a particular age group. For the middle aged, designs with ...
... floral patterns and scenes from the nature look really beautiful. For the youngsters and teenagers, vintage brooches with animals engraved on them are quite famous. Designs inspired by Hollywood flicks are also being famous these days. A vintage brooch is a man thing and gives the man a sense of elegance and sophistication.

A vintage pendant on the other hand could be a perfect gift for a woman. Pendants have been in fashion since the early Victorian times and still continue to be in vogue. The only difference in the vintage pendants of different era is that the early eighteenth century witnessed bright big chunks of properly shaped gold and silver with neat designs etched on them and big precious stones engraved, while the later ages saw colorful stones on more sober and simple pendants.

Vintage pendants in heart shape are an all time hit among women. A man trying to impress his woman might very well gift her one of these and spend the rest of his life in peace. Vintage anniversary rings or wedding rings are ideal gifts for both men and women. Based on one's taste, one can go for the highly sophisticated and intricately designed Georgian vintage rings, or the more exquisite Edwardian, or better still the exuberant and the very flamboyant art deco vintage wedding rings.

About: These jewels are available at a variety of rates depending on where you are buying it from. It is always advised to get vintage brooches which carry a provenance certificate for the piece indicating its genuineness and a certificate from the gemologist for the stones studded in the piece. A dealer giving these certificates will of course be much heavier on the pocket than the pawn brokers or the flea markets.
