A Full Bowel Can Lead To Bed Wetting?

It is a common occurrence to see bed wetting or enuresis in kids. The reason most commonly known to all of you is emotional problems, lack of parent's attention, inadequate toilet training or laziness from the part of the kid. Boy children face this more often than a girl child.
Studies have revealed that urine incontinence may result out of a full bowel or urinary tract infection. It is said that bed wetting occurs, one in six kids. Roughly around 7 percent aged 4- 15 years suffer from this.
Follow simple steps in order to avoid this occurrence:
As a parent you must closely observe your kid. Make him drink more water during the day and minimize it in the night. The water intake through out the day will be sufficient in the night too. If he still feels thirsty, he must just gulp enough to wet his lips and throat. So, a small amount will do. Also, make sure that his bowel is not too full before going to bed. Make him have early dinner so that he does not sleep with his stomach full. If not, this will add pressure to his bladder too. Let him empty his bladder fully before going to sleep.
Also, ensure ...
... that you are paying a lot of attention to him. He should not feel lonely and dejected. Find out if he is worried about some thing. Patiently listen to what he has to say and convince him and make him feel relaxed.
Be it kids or adults, you can guide them on how to control sphincter muscles or pelvic muscles. Kegel exercise helps you gain control over urination incontinence by strengthening your pelvic muscles. Thus, with greater control over your muscles you can reduce stress leakage.
Doctors suggest that developing continence day and night is a combination of neurological readiness, developmental readiness and the interplay between a child and his environment, whether that's day care, parents, sibling, preschool. Sufferers and their families have been accused of everything from poor parenting to latent criminality.
Kegel exercises aim to correct an underlying cause of urinary incontinence: weakened pelvic floor muscles that can occur with certain medical conditions, in overweight people, or after women give birth. Age is another risk factor for urinary incontinence. Thus, here's a good news that incontinence can be cured or greatly reduced at any age! By following a simple pelvic floor exercise program, otherwise known as kegel exercises, you can regain control and never again suffer its embarrassment.
