Haas Cnc Machines
Haas Automation is the largest of all CNC machine tool builders in the entire Western World, and Haas CNC Machines have comprised a full line of both CNC vertical and CNC horizontal machining centers along with rotary tables, CNC lathes and 5C indexers. The machine tools and rotary products that Haas makes are built to meet the exacting specifications that Gene Haas developed in order to deliver the most cost-effective quality, accuracy, durability and repeatability available on the machine tool market.
Haas CNC machines are developed by Haas Automation, which was founded in the year 1983 by Gene Haas. Since its inception, this company has been producing top quality products that are available at prices that are affordable to most machine tool buyers. Because Haas relied on mass production and high volume sales in place of high per unit profits when building up their company, they have been able to deliver a larger number of high tech innovations, standard features and rock solid engineering in comparison to other CNC machine tool manufacturing companies throughout the world, along with low prices.
Haas features ...
... a number of different products in its line of CNC milling and cutting machines, including CNC vertical machining centers, CNC horizontal machining centers and CNC lathes. In the vertical spindle line of CNC machining products you will find 40 taper machines, 50 taper machines and the new tiny 20 taper office mill (OM Series) machines that are no bigger than a large copier machine. The 40 taper vertical machining centers start at 20" X axis travel and go all the way up to 150" X axis, mold machines, tool room mills and mill drill centers round out the machining center line. In the 50 taper category you are going to find medium frame, large frame, extra large frame and 5 axis CNC mills and machines.
In the horizontal spindle line of CNC machining products you are going to be able to find both the EC / ES and HS lines of milling machines. Haas CNC machines also include CNC lathes, including office lathes (tiny like their counterpart office mills), bar feeders, turning centers, CNC tool room lathes, chucking and bar lathes and lathes with milling/drilling sub spindles. The line of Haas CNC machines is diverse, and constantly growing to provide new CNC cutting solutions for hobbyist and professional machinists.
The primary purpose behind the concept of CNC machining is to allow a computer to guide the tool, instead of a machinist turning handles, to achieve far greater precision and accuracy. A secondary benefit is the ability to machine unusual shapes by having different axes of motion going on simultaneously, something that would be almost impossible in a manual machine. Many modern products would be impossible to create without CNC machine tools - for example, the modern jet engine or an almost silent submarine propeller. When the computer is allowed to guide the machine in its cutting and other processes, the results are smoother and more precise than what could be achieved if the machine were to be guided by hand.
What this allows for is the creation of identical work pieces, precision work, sharp corners, intricate work and many other added benefits compared to other types of machining. Haas CNC machines, then, can be used for a myriad of different purposes, including custom creating shapes out of different materials that exhibit the precision and exact lines that only a computer could possibly create.
