Tips For A Better Page Rank

If you’ve got an outdoor advertising contract, you want your billboard put in a spot where the most traffic is going to see it, right? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is of course the main set of processes and principals that will drive PageRank. There are two main tracks to SEO; onsite and offsite optimization.
Onsite Optimization Tips for Better PageRank
1. Use Keyword Tools like Google’s keyword tool to determine your best keywords.
2. Apply your most important keyword in the name of your URL.
3. Apply your most important keyword in the Title of the home page.
4. Apply your most important keyword in the Description of your home page.
5. Keyword density in your body text †generally no less than 5% of the your body text should be populated with your most your most important keyword on your home page. However, you must make sure that your content is ...

6. Every page should have unique content and have unique titles, descriptions and follow reasonable guidelines for keyword density.
7. Add regular / weekly content to the site using a specific subpage to index and link to each article.
8. Submit a new sitemap every time you add or change content.
9. Add Tags to provide search engine spiders valid descriptions to all non-textual content i.e. videos, podcasts, images and graphical elements.
10. Add Emphasis †bolding, italic or underline to important words, phrases.
11. Inter-linking †establish links to other pages within your domain to more fully coordinate and organize the relationship and relevance of your website content.
12. Add a Blog †more content. Establish a blog.mywebsite.com structure for best results.
Off-Site Optimization
Off-Site Optimization is all about maximizing your Backlinks; both the quantity and the quality of the backlinks. Your Google PageRank is more affected by Backlinks than anything else that has been documented. Google is all about relevance and authority. Backlinks are used by Google to establish relative quotients for both relevance and authority. Those on the first page are deemed to most relevant and / or the most authoritative for the keyword entered.
Since quality Backlinks come from great content and nothing else, the following tips are restricted to getting the best Backlinks:
1. Produce Great Content †there is no substitution. This is the starting point as you can’t get great Backlinks without great, non-duplicate content. Content includes both textual and non-textual formats:
1. Articles †should be at least 500 words (this article is).
2. Press Releases
3. Blogposts †at least 300 words. Do this daily if you are truly committed.
4. E-Books
5. Podcasts / Videos
6. Cartoons / Animation
2. Optimize Great Content †add descriptive, keyword targeted links and tags.
3. Syndicate Great Content †you can’t get the great Backlinks if you don’t syndicate great content. Some examples of where to syndicate:
1. Content Sites
2. Articles Sites
3. Press Release Sites
4. Social Media Sites
5. Social Bookmarking Sites
6. Blogs
Your on-site optimization forms the foundation for increasing your Page Rank. Your offsite optimization actually generates the results by differentiating your site in the eyes of Google by clearly demonstrating high relevance and high authority associated with the keyword or the subject.
While these tips should be useful, it is only an outline. SEO requires maximum skill, commitment and dedication to successfully compete and arrive on Page 1 of Google.
