Did you break your iPhone screen? The bad news: it just became more expensive to repair on some iPhone models. Many of the users discovered the change this weekend, noticing iPhone screen repair prices have gone up $20 for the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Screen repair prices for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will match the other iPhone device, respectively.

Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will go on sale from September 22. The price increases appear to be in effect across regions. Of course, $20 may not seem like enough of a jump to induce outrage, but nearly anyone who has ever owned an iPhone knows just how delicate the screen is, despite how "tough" Apple claims to be making them now.

It's also very tough to convince them to replace yours for free. And with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus sporting glass on both the front and back, it's easy to see how an unlucky drop could still produce that signature of a spider web on the display.

The new Apple iPhone 8 models are priced under the new screen repair plan. The iPhone 8 will cost you $149 and the iPhone 8 Plus, $169 for a new screen. There's no price on Apple's site for an X screen repair, but we can probably expect it to be even higher.
