Kent Ro Water Purifier Beep Or Alarm

Often we hear people getting issues of Beep in Kent RO systems. This beep actually comes from the choke of the water purifier and can indicate some fault in the water purifier. The beep can come due to many reasons which can be either indicating that the filters need to be changed or that the UV light is not working.

The filter change alarm starts beeping after 700 hours of use of water purifier, which roughly translates to almost 2 years of usage for consumption of 10 LPH

This is an audible alarm for the replacement of filters and sounds as following:-

4 beeps after 2 seconds which repeats after every 2 hours usage of purifier. This is an indication that the filters of the purifier need to be changed and you should call a technician as soon as possible on hearing such beep. If the filters are not changed within 60 hours of usage of the purifier, the machine stops and beeps continuously. Sometimes technician might only reset the water purifier (choke) and not change the filter, however it is not advisable as it is detrimental to the health as well as the water purifier’s condition. UV Fail Alarm:-

This alarm gives two beeps after a gap of 2 seconds. This is an indication of the failure of UV lamp, you should call a technician immediately in such a case.
