Boats, with or without skipper, are easily available on rent and is a fastest-growing business in Croatia; the obvious reason is suitability of the Croatian coast for sailing.. There are more than 150 companies with 3000 vessels of varying capacities. They include sailboats, motor boats, motorized vessels and luxury yachts. Two to three weeks can easily be spent in enjoying different landscapes here. Always make sure that you book a registered boat only. This can be easily confirmed from the charter concession documentation that they have to keep with the boat documentations. Most of these companies can be found on internet. If you wish to hire a boat without skipper, you must possess a sailor's certification of qualification. Foreign charter vessels are free to sail Croatian waters subject to the rules regulating the entry of foreign vessels.
