Recent studies have shown that compared to pay-per-click advertising campaigns, organic search engine optimization campaigns are far better in many ways.

Let's have a look into some of the aspects.

Tendency of clicking on Ad:
Many studies have shown that people are less interested in clicking on paid search ads rather than clicking ads which comes as results from organic search engine optimization. For example, one study have shown that users which are searching data, are up to eight times more interested in clicking on the first few organic results compared to they are to choose from any of the paid results.

As more and more people are turning to the Internet for conducting research and getting information they want, as a result more and more searchers are getting awareness of paid results as a marketing technique. And in the holiday season like Christmas the cost of keywords can increase like a rocket. These costs are surely noticeable; one very interesting study of problems which is being conducted on U.S. companies has found that 57 percent of users felt that the keywords that they are looking for are "too expensive," and other 51 percent of the users has expressed concern that they are paying high price for certain keywords. On the other hand, if you do outsource it to an organic SEO firm then your costs will probably be higher than the prices for PPC advertising.

Results:
A pay-per-click campaign has tendency to produce results faster than an organic search engine optimization campaign, but the edge which is taken by organic search engine optimization campaigns is, it produces results which is last longer. In the pay-per-click campaign when the budget runs out, or when company decides to terminate campaign, the results also end as well at that point of time.

What is your budget?
Small companies which are having relatively tight budgets may find that pay-per-click is a better suited to them than organic search engine optimization because a pay-per-click campaign is going to cost less. If you have chosen your business related best keywords then that is not good enough to get fair number of visitors towards your website.
