Is Becoming a Lost Art - In the 21st century, kids have so many stimuli around them. They have iPods, cell phones, computers, television and HD radio! Reading great books for kids is becoming a lost art in this world. As parents or guardians, it is up to us to teach kids the adventures and joys of reading. It starts at infancy where great books are read to babies before they go to sleep or at a special time during the day. Eventually as the children grow, the series of books grow with them.

Will Enhance Relationships - When a parent or guardian takes time to be with a growing child by reading great books to them, the bonding and relationship of the parent and child grows. The child learns that a certain time of day is set aside just for them where they can hear great stories from great books. In my family, we read at the dinner table when the dessert was served. After the story, we talked about what happened and shared our hearts about what we thought of the book. Those times are now treasured memories!

Will Help Kids Learn to Read - As a series of characters are introduced ...
... to kids through various situations, the kids become familiar with the characters and the stories. Soon the kids will learn the words in the books and become interested in reading. When I would read to my children, I pointed to the words as I read and soon they recognized them! These books for kids helped my children learn to read words and as they grew, they read other books on their own.

Will Help Kids Grow in Faith - When children listen to great stories about God's love, His forgiveness and His acceptance, the kids will grow in faith and trust in who God is and how much He loves each child. Will Help Children Grow in Knowledge - When children listen to great stories about who God is and what He has done for us, they begin to understand God and have a great knowledge of His promises. These type of books are valuable to parents and guardians who are looking for resources to help train their child in the ways of the Lord.

Will Help Children Grow in Truth - "Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, NIV). Children can learn that Jesus is truth by reading Christian children's books that remind the kids that God created them special and unique. These books can help kids understand the truth of how God sees them.

The simple messages held within great kid's board books can have a profound and lasting effect on children and their parents as affirming and loving words and pictures are shared and the parent child bond is strengthened.
