Microsoft Pays Its Xbox One Errors With The Kinect

The Microsoft Kinect presents me with a dilemma. On the one hand, it is one of the most innovative technologies to come out in the last 10 years. On the other hand, it's a totally useless gadget that adds little value to the experience of the Xbox One.
The Kinect is an exceptional technology. Really, it's probably the most innovative and creative thing that Microsoft has created for years, and unlocking it for third-party development was one of the smartest movements Microsoft has ever made.
Did you know that the MIT Media Lab - one of the great bastions of progressive technological research in the world - uses Kinect for mechanical vision experiments and 3D imaging? The Kinect is an inexpensive solution that allows MIT students to create interesting projects. The notion of taking infrared cameras and eye beam forming to create a mechanical vision device and reduce it to a package and consumer price should be considered one of the technological marvels of the 21st century.
So from the point of view of an innovator, the Kinect is cool. But the Kinect technology ...
... is not exactly the issue of the Xbox One. Hence the moral dilemma: I would like to appreciate the Kinect as a great piece of material to solve interesting problems, but I find it unnecessary as a consumer product.
Quick thinking: a bigger screen for the iPhone 6?
Mark Gurman of 9to5 Mac is still on a hot series with scoops from Apple - almost as if he had a documentary drain of iOS 8 and iPhone hardware (either directly from Apple or someone well-informed).
His latest revelation features specifications for the iPhone 6 screen. Gurman says that Apple is working on a larger screen, 1704 × 960, maybe a diagonal of 4.7 inches. This would allow the iPhone to have a 16: 9 aspect ratio and make life a little easier for developers who need to upgrade their applications to work on a variety of screen sizes.
IPhone rumors will persist up to the Apple launch event later this year but Gurman has already said everything you need to know about new devices and iOS 8. Apple needs to make bigger phones that people crack while making them cheaper. It seems almost certain now that Apple will achieve at least one of these goals.
I've been using an Xbox One since I pulled out a Microsoft loan after its Build conference in early April (*). Less than two months later, the Kinect does not work and I can not understand what's wrong. He says he is not plugged into the console, but I checked all the cables several times; It is well connected to television and Xbox One.
I'm trying to figure out if I've committed an unknown type of user error or the thing is just a piece of waste. But the sudden inoperability of the Kinect is not even the major problem I've encountered with the device.
