Japan continues to receive various awards and recognitions from different organizations, not just locally but also from other nations. The “Land of the rising sun” continues to progress in terms of mobile technology. It is one of the most tech-advanced countries in the world.
The mobile technology is one of the innovative sectors in the country. There were various awards received such as the best handset for NTT DoCoMo in 2002. Many companies also develop functional innovations they can use for daily tasks, as well as disaster rescues. Investments continue to pour and generated different jobs for locals and even expatriates.

The organization review their efforts and give awards to the innovations created by the members in the mobile ecosystem. They also give recognition to the organizations connected with the industry sectors.
Japan’s mobile industry problem received awards
Japan may have but that doesn’t mean they are exempted from different problems. Authorities received some complaint reported regarding the mobile tech in the country. Mobile users are the targets of many online criminals that initiates fraud activities.
According to Pixalate, 36% of smartphone users in Japan were involved in fraudulent transactions. The smartphone apps have 36% programmatic ad fraud impression rates which is greater than the 12% of the tablet apps.
The data intelligence platform found out that Japan has the highest rate in terms of programmatic ad fraud. It is greater compared to Brazil and United States. The advertisements from connected TV and over-the-top (OTT) ads reached a high rate in the first quarter of 2017. The fraud ad impression rate on desktops has reached more than 80%.
The authorities are currently handling the reports and they released a warning regarding the fraud ads. Desktop and mobile users are the targets of fraud ads since they have the access to internet connectivity.
A lot of mobile and desktop users are getting involved in fraud advertisements. The people behind the crime entice the users to fall into their trap. They usually offer products, services, or any other promotions that attract the users. Some persuade the victims to put an investment or apply for a recruitment agency. Check the legitimacy of the ads or website content to avoid getting involved in any scam.
