AKSHARA’s Girl Education Program (GEP) is centered on ameliorating the situation by which girls, especially those in the marginalized communities can approach to quality of education. Education is a vital tool that allows women and girls to take part in decisions that affect their lives and in ameliorating their social status. AKSHARA’s Girl Education Program caters technical assistance while working through the formal school systems as well as through the integrated programs of AKSHARA. AKSHARA’s Girl Education Program is committed to allowing effective implementation of education provisions and policies for rights, entitlements and empowerment of girls from most marginalized segments of the society in safe and secure, inclusive and gender responsive environments.
