One of the oldest companies from The Hero Group, Rockman is the pioneer in manufacturing of two-wheeler automotive parts. Started the business with manufacturing of bicycle chains in India, Rockman has now become the industry leader of automotive aftermarket and automotive component, supplying bicycle chains and other automotive parts not only in India, but all around the world. Not only this, it also has its own manufacturing units for the production of tools and equipment needed for the manufacture of the automotive parts. Rockman specializes in aluminium die casting, alloy wheel, drive chain and sprockets manufacturing, carbon fibre engineering and manufacturing. ... the company opened other manufacturing units across the country, viz., Haridwar unit in the year 2007, Mangli unit in the year 2013, acquired Chennai unit in the year 2014 and commissioned Bawal (Haryana) unit in the same year. In this course of progressive advancement, the next major milestone to be added this year is entry of the company into the field of Carbon Composites through acquisition of a majority stake in Moldex Composites Pvt. Ltd., based in Surat, Gujarat.
