Welding safety: That is one of those things that many would be welders, do not take seriously. You can only just escape with avoiding protection for such a long time before it bites you in the butt.

I've seen many people welding without gloves and you can actually get away with this for a time but what goes on whenever a spark lands on your side and sticks to your skin? You get an awful burn! It'll usually leave a scar tissue for some time as a reminder never to be stupid the next time. The one I've seen that basically gets me is the person welding without a hood! It makes me question where they were during the safety part of the class. Or if indeed they never needed a welding course have they never spoken to anyone who did welding, about how precisely to weld using butt welding equipment? That is the one which I trapped my boy doing and he has gone to class and I've warned him about any of it but he was in a rush and didn't remember to pick up a hood. I believe after a few times of welding without a hood and he had trouble seeing for many hours and the main one time he actually burnt his eye plus and they were swollen ...

The issue with this is, as he or anyone who selects to weld without a helmet gets older, their eyes harsh on the eye, even though it is performed easily and only makes things more serious when you don't use the safety equipment while working with electrofusion fittings. For me personally a problem I've faced that it gets too hot with a welding t shirt therefore i would do small jobs in a t-shirt and it never fails a spark down the very best of my tee shirt and a shed on my chest. It really will not matter what you select when welding, if you don't use all the safety equipment you'll get burnt. In the end we are coping with melted metallic that is approximately 2400 levels Fahrenheit, that's really hot.

When I was going right through welding school we'd a few kids which used gel in their hair, which was one of the items the trainer warned us about, but there is one individual that refused to give up using gel. We'd started the practical area of the course and I was speaking with the instructor whenever we saw a unique flash and a scream. You guessed it; a spark transpired the top of the hood and the adobe flash we found was his hair exploding while working with fittings products. After his hair finally grew again he decided he'd not wear gel in it while welding.
