Paper Plates For An Eco-friendly Lifestyle

Now-a-days, it has become essential to live an eco-friendly lifestyle by using products which are not harmful to environment and are easily recyclable or reusable. Paper plates with silver foils wrapped around it can save our picnic days because they can be recycled easily. Now, paper plates are replacing plastic plates as people are getting conscious about several harmful effects of plastic plates. They make our lives easier because we do not have to wash them. Thus, it saves a lot of water. Paper plates are convenient to use and they can be easily disposed but paper plates which are not made from sugarcane, bamboo, or other plant’s starches consumes a lot of water and paper pulping mills use chemicals which can contaminate water. Conventionally prepared paper plates use petroleum wax coating which strengthens the base and thus, it cannot be recycled. Thus, recycled paper needs to be used in order to reduce consumption of water while producing paper plates.

Thus, it is recommended that users must know every detail of the product they are using so that they are actively participating in ‘go green’ campaign. Greenhandle, a firm which is reinventing methods in terms of packaging is also offering paper plates which are made from sugarcane starches and are easily recyclable. These are cost-effective and can be used for multiple purposes. These paper plates are supplied in bulk. Thus, reducing time and travel cost while dispatching the product.

Plates made from fallen leaves are nontoxic, biodegradable, compostable, and sustainable. It does not harm the environment. They can be reused after washing. They are sun resistant, oven and microwave resistant. Paper plates made from sugarcane fibre are grease and cut resistant. Reusable plates are best suited for the purpose of saving environment. Thus, using paper plates will not just save money but it will also save a lot of non-renewable resources like petroleum. We must always look forward towards using those paper plates which are made from renewable resources so that a lot of water is saved and unlike plastic plates, paper plates must not adversely affect our health or environment. It is high time to take proactive actions to prevent any form of environmental damage.
