The features of High Tenacity Yarn included that they are intermingled, Flame Retardant, Multi Ply, Dope Dyed, Adhesive Activated, Twisted and Flat.
Low shrinkage polyester yarn is used where tenacity, yet a low heat shrinkage is required with 220 – 2000 den and Shrinkage from 1,6% - 3,5% which are Intermingled, twisted and multicompact up to 220.000 Dtex with Low shrinkage, HMLS, adhesive activated.
Applications of these are included as PVC coated materials, taupaulins, tirecords, filtration, firehose, Geotextiles. Coated yarns are also considered to be used with Low shrinkage polyester yarn.
HMLS refers to High Modulus Low Shrinkage. High Modulus Low shrinkage polyester yarn is used where tenacity, yet a low heat shrinkage is required with 220 – 2000 den and Shrinkage from accepted which are Intermingled, twisted and multicompact up to 220.000 Dtex with Low shrinkage, adhesive activated. High modulus low shrinkage yarn is especially designed for tirecord with high performance of 1000-1500 den that are Intermingled & twisted usually.
