This prices in this area are very competitive and even though the area is father out of the city, it’s served well by a range of place to eat and small supermarkets. To the West of Leeds you will find the high rising City Island development. This is situated on a virtual ‘island’ formed as the river splits into 2 and surrounds the flats. Living in this area has its drawbacks though, it’s a brisk 5 min walk down the canal to the station but visitors will have to be let in via a secure gate, or they face a long walk around the outside of the compound.
