How To Reach From Indore To Mumbai By: Rashmiranjan Patil
Indore is the commercial capital of the state of Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai is the capital of Mahrashtra which is located in the west coast of India. Both Indore and Mumbai are among the leading cities of India. Mumbai can be reached from Indore through all modes of transportations like air, rail and road.
The distance between the two cities is about 586 km that will take a travel time of about 9 hours approximately if traveling by road. Private taxis and cabs are available from Indore to Mumbai that will take a travel of about8 to 9 hours. These vehicles charge 10,000 to 17,000 rupees round the travel, depending upon the type of vehicle chosen by the traveler.
The main bus operators that provide services from Indore to Mumbai are HANS Travels, RTS Royal Star Travels and Citizen Travels. The air-conditioned buses charge from 500 rupees to 1250 rupees per traveler to travel from Indore to Mumbai. Numerous domestic airline companies provide frequent flight services from Indore to Mumbai. The travel time from Indore to Mumbai via air ranges from one and a half to two hours. The air fare is normally between 3500 and 6000 rupees per traveler. There are direct flights as well as connection flights from Indore to reach Mumbai. The main airline companies that provide flight services between Indore and Mumbai are Jet Airways, IndiGo, Air India and Jet Lite.
Journey by flight and train from Indore to Mumbai are the recommended modes of transport between the two destinations. Travel via road in car is suited for group travelers and families with kids. Varanasi, also known as Kashi and Banaras is the holy city of the Hindus situated on the banks of the River Ganga in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The oldest city in India, Varanasi has immense importance in the Hindu religion and is visited by a lot of tourists and pilgrims every year. Varanasi is well-connected to the capital city of India, Delhi by all modes of transportations like air, rail and road.
The distance between the two cities of Delhi and Varanasi is about 795 km and will take a travel time of about 11 hours if traveling via road. The recommended route to travel from Delhi to Varanasi is through the National Highway 2 and National Highway 25, other than the SH 22, SH 46, SH 5, SH 7 and SH 87.
Bus operators like SRS Travels, Vishwakarma Travels Bhilwara and Canara Pinto Travels provide good bus services between the two destinations of Delhi and Varanasi on a regular basis. Five fastest buses from Delhi to Varanasi will take about 14 to 16 hours to reach Varanasi from Delhi. They start at about 16:00 hours in the evening and reach Varanasi at 7:00 to 9:00 hours, the next day. These buses charge from about 420 rupees to1800 rupees per traveler depending upon the type of bus chosen by the traveler.

The main trains to Varanasi from here are, Neelachal Express No:12876 which departs at 6:30 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 13 hours and 30 minutes at 8:00 pm on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, Ndls Dbrt Rjdhni Express No:12436 which departs at 9:30 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 12 hours and 45 minutes at 10:15 pm on Thursdays and Sundays, Ghy Rajdhani Express No:12236 which departs at 9:30 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 12 hours and 45 minutes at 10:15 pm only on Tuesdays, Kashi V Express No: 14258 which departs at 11:40 am and reaches Varanasi Junction within 17 hours and 5 minutes at 4:45 am on all the days, Shramjevi N Express No:12392 which departs at 1:15 pm and reaches Varanasi Junction within 13 hours and 10 minutes at 2:25 am on all the days.
