It was a fining morning with a clear sky and light breeze blowing. But George didn't enjoy the weather outside, neither was he bothered by the mounting traffic at the rush hours. George was lost in his own thought, the fight he had last night with Jenny and was trying to figure out the heated discussions. “Which way is their relationship headed?” he thought to himself.
One day Jennifer took him to the Therapy Services New York which treats New York no fault victims. First and foremost they assured them and took a detailed report of his pains and concerns. The symptoms of stress and trauma that was manifested in him was natural among No fault ny victims. After they created a thorough report, they arranged for the psychiatric counseling by a trained professional. The professional allowed George to vent out all his concern, difficulties and discomforts. Slowly George grew comfortable and felt much relaxed. The person also gave him some very useful tips and asked him to follow a routine and to get back to his normal routine over a period of time. What happened that day was as the cars started moving, George started off too. Suddenly for some reason the car in the front slowed down. George was supposed to put on the break of the car; he has done so several times before in such situation. But for a few seconds he was completely blackout and it took him few more seconds to put the break. But it was too late by that time as his car went on and hit at the back of the car. The front of the car is severely damaged; the steering hit his chest badly. The seat belt has saved his life but as he was being rushed to the nearby hospital he bled from head and nose and felt an acute pain in his chest. X-Ray, Echocardiogram and other medical tests were conducted on him for the next few hours. The car was sent to the authorized service station for and through revamp.
After a week when he was released from the hospital, Jennifer took him home. Jennifer had been by his side all through, but George was unable to remove the trauma of that few seconds out of his mind. Even after taking strong sedative, he felt the sound of ignition of hundreds of cars and then a boom.
Now the question that comes to his mind is that was it completely his fault or the car in front was at fault as it slowed down without proper signaling. Or did it signaled, which George was unable to take a note of? Whoever was at fault, despite trying to forget the incident, George was unable to overcome the shock.
