Dealing with debt hassle can be really frustrating especially when the collection task is assigned to a collection agent. So it is good for you that you know about your rights, so that you can avoid awful situations to arise.

Note that, debt collection is the process which is needed to be followed in the proper way. And debt collectors are not allowed to take any action against you that is illegal. And the collection agent cannot omit any step while approaching you.
