But just like pouches, Mei Tai baby carriers have certain disadvantages. These are not that compact and so will not fit in all diaper bags. Moreover, these carriers are suitable only for upright position and not for cradle position. Another drawback is that these may drag on the ground and get dirty when you try to tie the straps into place.
Baby carriers are very useful for nursing mothers as they can continue with their daily chores without worrying about their babies.
