A linear programming equation is defined as the problem of maximizing or minimizing a linear function subject to linear constraints. Linear programming is a technique for the optimization of a linear objective function, subject to linear equality and linear inequality constraints. The constraints may be equalities inequalities. A convex polyhedron is a feasible solution, which is a set defined as the intersection of finitely many half spaces, each of which is defined by linear inequality.
