What Is A Solid State Relay (ssr)    Submitted as: huimultd
Because of its excellent performance, solid state relay has become an Solid State Relay (also known as SSR, SS Relay, SSR relay or SSR switch, solid-state contactor, power electronic switch, automotive relays, electronic power relays, and electrical signal contactors) is an integrated contactless electronic switch device that is compactly assembled from an integrated circuit (IC) and discrete components. Depending on the switching characteristics of the electronic components (such as switching transistors, bi-directional thyristors and other semiconductor components), the SSRs are able to switch the "ON" and "OFF" state of the load very quickly through the electronic circuit, just like the function of traditional mechanical relays. Compared with the previous "coil-reed contact" relay, namely Electromechanical Relay(EMR), there is no movable mechanical part inside the SSR, and there is also no mechanical action during the switching process of the SSR. Therefore, the Solid-State Relay is also called "non-contact switch".(read entire article)

What Are Solid State Modules?    Submitted as: huimultd
INTRODUCTION: Generally speaking, the power module refers to the device mainly composed of power components (such as SCR , TRIAC , MOSFET , IGBT ). Narrowly speaking, power modules are referring to solid-state modules to differentiate with solid state relays . The main function of the solid state relay is electronic switch, and the solid state module is used to adjust the load power, and voltage regulation . Through this article you will learn What are power modules? What is a power module? What is the structure of the power module? What are the types of the power module? How do electronic power modules work? How to select the power module? How To Wire The Mgr Solid State Relay?    Submitted as: huimultd
INTRODUCTION: Solid state relays (SSR) are electronic switches that use transistors as switching components, with many advantages over traditional electromagnetic relays (EMR). For more information, please visit: SSR vs EMR . There are many types of solid state relays, so they can be classified in many ways: For example, according to installation method, solid state relays can be divided into Panel Mount type and PCB Mount type; according to the load capacity, solid state relays can be divided into Standard Package type (rectangular shape); and Industrial Package type (long strip shape); according to the I/O (input-output) form, solid state relays can be divided into DC-DC type, AC-DC type, DC-AC type, AC-AC type; according to load voltage, solid state relays can be divided into DC type, Single Phase type and Three Phase type; and more. Through this article you will learn how to wire the MGR/mager solid state relay. You can quickly navigate to the chapters you are interested in through the Directory below, and the Quick Navigator on the right side of the browser.(read entire article)
