Hypnosis

Hypnosis, sometimes referred to as trance state,is more of daydreaming than it is sleep.
What is hypnosis?
In therapy, hypnosis is defined as a person experiencing a sense of deep relaxation and in the meantime, the attention is vanished and leads to a light sleep.
As defined by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the term refers to “a state of inner absorption, concentration, and focused attention.” During this peaceful and tranquil state, an individual is rendered more willing and more capable of accepting any instruction or suggestions that can be made by the hypnosis practitioner or the hypnotherapist. These instructions or suggestions are all created towards the accomplishment of a single goal or set of goals, such as minimizing chronic bouts of pain or doing away with smoking altogether.
When hypnosis becomes a subject of discussion, some people doubt if it is real or fake and people feel it hard ...
... to distinguish it. However, according to both medical studies and clinical practices, hypnosis has been proven to be real and has been promoted and has become a very popular method to treat patients mental disorders such as insomnia, stress and anxiety; it is a totally pain free therapy and has been adopted by public. The theory applied on practice is to relax patients’ mind and set their mind into a trance state. It seems that patients’ mind has been controlled and fall asleep, and temporarily lose consciousness.
When patient is in a trance state, it appears that the hypnotherapist uses a soft and gentle voice so as to induce the patient to get into a relaxed state and accomplish and manipulate relaxation set on the patient’s mind.
Hypnosis, contrary to popular belief, is not made by simply swinging a pendulum or gold watch in front of a patient as it is commonly depicted in television and cinema. Instead, hypnosis is commonly conducted by the practitioner or hypnotherapist talking to his subject, and you, as the subject, directly participate in realizing the hypnotic state. Hypnosis calls for repetitive word and sentence use, successive relaxation methods, and mental imagery.
Hypnosis should only be performed by a hypnotherapist or practitioner who is a graduate from a registered school or psychology or clinical hypnosis, has a healthcare license, and is a duly-certified member of professional psychology and hypnosis associations such as the American Psychological Association and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Overall, hypnosis is real; it has been proven to have a magnificent and positive treatment outcome. Any patients having adopted the techniques considered it as a safe and pain free treatment as their life long treatment.
