Equality Run 2025 Unites Hyderabad In A Spirit Of Purpose, Devotion & Community Impact
Statue of Equality – 30 November 2025
The Equality Run 2025, organised by the Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Foundation, illuminated the early hours of Hyderabad with devotion, togetherness and an inspiring commitment to social upliftment. Runners of all ages gathered at the Statue of Equality, where a golden sunrise cast a divine glow across the sacred grounds, setting the tone for a morning filled with purpose and unity.
A Divine Start to a Powerful Cause
Participants arrived before dawn, welcomed by serene chants, live music, and the peaceful spiritual energy that surrounds the monumental statue of Sri Ramanujacharya. As the first rays of the sun lit the sky, thousands of runners prepared themselves for a journey that transcended distance, that echoed the event’s mission to support Tribal Education and empower the Visually Impaired.
Under the divine guidance of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, the event emphasised the belief that every step taken in the service of equality strengthens the fabric of society.
The Run: Strength, Spirit & Scenic Splendour
The event featured 21K, 10K, 5K, and ...
... 3K categories, all flagged off at 5:30 AM after the reporting at 5:00 AM. As runners set off along the sacred pathways, they were greeted by breathtaking architecture, serene water bodies and tranquil landscapes that transformed the run into a spiritual experience.
Athletes showcased endurance, strength and dedication, reflecting the resilience of the communities the event seeks to uplift. Guardians ran alongside their children, senior participants set inspiring examples of perseverance and seasoned runners pushed their limits united by a common cause.
Moments of Community & Celebration
Post-run, participants were treated to a warm and nourishing Satvik breakfast, offering a healthy conclusion to the morning’s physical effort. Cultural performances, community interactions and moments of reflection followed, creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and togetherness.
Volunteers, spiritual leaders, families and fitness communities came together to honour not just the runners, but also the vision of universal equality upheld by the Foundation.
Impact Beyond the Finish Line
More than a fitness event, the Equality Run 2025 stood as a reminder that collective action can have a lasting impact. Funds raised from the event will directly support:
● Education initiatives for tribal children, helping bridge access gaps
● Learning and empowerment programs for the visually impaired, fostering
independence and opportunity
Every participant contributed to this transformative mission, turning their morning miles into meaningful change.
Looking Ahead
The success of the event was driven by the devotion of participants, volunteers, and the guiding presence of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. The Equality Run continues to grow as one of Hyderabad’s most impactful cause-based events, inspiring thousands to embrace fitness, spirituality and social responsibility.
As the sun rose higher over the Statue of Equality, its message echoed across the gathering: When we run for others, we move humanity forward.
