Atos & Aws Launch Global Genai Innovation Studio As Atos Reveal New Ceo & Chairman
The rapid integration of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) into businesses worldwide has led AI companies to enhance their capabilities. They are creating new platforms, investing in research, and reshaping their organizational structures to keep up with demand.
Atos Group, a key player in digital transformation, is taking a significant step with its latest partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Together, they’ve launched a global GenAI Innovation Studio.
Atos Group and AWS Introduce GenAI Innovation Studio
Atos announced the opening of a cutting-edge 6,000-square-foot GenAI Innovation Studio in Pune, India, through a news release. The launch event, set for October 15-17, 2024, will involve Atos' digital-focused arm, Eviden, known for its expertise in cloud, data, and security solutions.
Diane Galbe, Senior Executive VP of Atos Group, shared her enthusiasm, stating, “We are excited to launch this global co-innovation GenAI Studio in partnership with AWS. This studio will allow us to work closely with our clients to develop solutions and accelerators tailored to their specific needs, ...
... enabling them to leverage the full power of generative AI.”
Features of the GenAI Innovation Studio
The studio aims to help businesses unlock the full potential of GenAI, driving innovation, transforming customer interactions, and boosting productivity. By collaborating with AWS, Atos will develop industry-specific solutions, offering clients sessions that envision the future of AI and hands-on proofs-of-value to enhance their GenAI adoption.
The facility will also be a hub for learning and innovation, hosting training sessions, hackathons, AWS DeepRacer competitions, and certification programs. This initiative aligns with a five-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) between Eviden and AWS.
In addition to the studio's launch, Atos announced the appointment of Philippe Salle as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, with an effective transition to Chairman and CEO by February 2025. Jean-Pierre Mustier, the current CEO, will continue in his role until January 31, 2025, and remain on the board thereafter.
Philippe Salle remarked, “I am proud to join Atos Group and am committed to tackling the challenges ahead. I believe in the strength of our services and the dedication of our team, and I look forward to this new chapter.”
