Injections

Anemia is a disorder in which there are not enough healthy red blood cells to carry enough oxygen to your body's tissues. You may feel exhausted and lack strength if you have anemia, commonly known as low hemoglobin. Anemia can develop as a result of kidney disease, cancer chemotherapy, or HIV infection treatment.
Anemia can have many different forms, each with a unique cause. It can be mild to severe and can be short-term or long-term. Men are somewhat more likely than women to have anemia by the age of 65 and it can affect up to 22% of men and 16% of women over the age of 80. But anemia is a curable disease. Nowadays, many remedies are available to cure Anemia.
One of the most effective remedies for the treatment of Anemia is Erythropoietin injection. It is a member of the hormone class used to treat chronic anemia and anemic conditions observed in renal illness, cancer, chemotherapy patients, bone marrow problems, and people undergoing significant bone surgery.
Erythropoietin 10000IU Injection is an artificial protein that includes Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Alfa, which stimulates the bone marrow ...
... to create more red blood cells and increases the red blood cell count in the body. Additionally, it can be used to treat or prevent anemia in patients preparing for major bone surgeries such as hip or knee replacements. It may help lessen the need for blood transfusions in cancer patients, as well as those undergoing bone surgery or chemotherapy.
Cautions and Precautions
It is safe to use Erythropoietin Injections in both adults and children. Your specialist will continuously examine your blood pressure and iron levels during this treatment and change the dose as necessary to reduce the risk of adverse side effects. It is not suitable for patients with recent heart attacks or patients having severe uncontrollable high blood pressure and pure red aplastic anemia in which the bone marrow cannot produce RBC.
Dosage
The dosage is determined by your weight and the cause of your anemia. Erythropoietin Injections are available in multiple dosages such as 2000IU, 3000IU 4000IU, and 10000IU. This medication is given by injecting either under the skin or into a vein which will be decided by your doctor. This therapy can be more successful if iron supplements are used both before and throughout it.
