What is marketing?

Marketing is a way in which we sell products or services to customers. In this, we describe customers about the product in deferent ways. We encourage people to buy our service or product. According to me marketing is very important to expand our business or service. There are two types of marketing and I will describe to you about them, there advantages and disadvantages or which type is best for us.

Types of marketing

1 offline marketing
2 online marketing

• Offline marketing is also known as traditional marketing. In this type of marketing, we marketing our product or service in traditional ways like through banner, paper, radio, television, template.

• On the other hand, online marketing is also known as Internet marketing, Digital marketing & web marketing. With the help of web marketing, we provide our product or service advertisement through social media like facebook, youtube, Instagram, tiktok, LinkedIn email marketing, search engine marketing, content marketing, video blogging.

Advantages or disadvantages of offline marketing

• Perfect for political campaigns
• Order exactly what you need
• Create an impressive exhibition stands
• Valuable for promoting loyalty schemes
• Builds relationships when networking

Disadvantages

• Limitation in Audience Reached
• High Marketing Cost
• Limited Accessibility
• More challenging to establish your company as an expert offline
• It is not measurable if you are not providing an incentive

• Low Cost for Operations
• Global Marketing
• Ability to Multitask
• Diversified Marketing and Advertising

• Dependability on technology
• Security, privacy issues
• Higher transparency of pricing and increased price competition
• Worldwide competition through globalization
• Real-time customer complaints and feedback
• Training and expertise necessary to manage social media to the optimum

According to me, it depends on the location and type of business, but I personally recommend digital marketing because you can learn it and gain your marketing skills. In this digital era, people use the internet for there personal use and the number of users is growing up day by day and this is a good sign for digital marketers to advertise through them.
