How I Lost Weight Riding Electric Commuter Bike
With Electric Commuter Bike the situation was different. The bike runs on electric motor that needs to be charged once daily and I could easily ride for 15 to 20 miles daily. Initially, I rode the bike for a minimum of 15 mins. My weight did not permit me to continue more. But slowly, with daily practice I began to increase the time. From 15 minutes to 30 minutes.
From early childhood, I have been obese. I found it extremely difficult to loose weight. I had tried different types of diets but to no vail. The fat refused to melt. But with the passage of time things started to change from last year (I was fat until then). Even though I am much leaner than I was ever but there is a long way to go. To cut a long story short I started losing weight when is became an Electric Bike Commuter. Yes you have read it right. I always knew that cycling helps one to lose weight. But due to my weight, I could never cycle. I would start panting in the first few minutes. Paddling the bicycle was a huge issue for me. But, with Electric Commuter Bike the situation was different. The bike runs on electric motor that needs to be charged once daily and I could easily ride for 15 to 20 miles daily. Initially, I rode the bike for a minimum of 15 mins. My weight did not permit me to continue more. But slowly, with daily practice I began to increase the time. From 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Slowly I increased it to 45 minutes and at present I ride my electric bike for a minimum of 1hour 30 minutes daily. I don’t ride for such a long time at a stretch but twice everyday sums up to this time.
In addition to riding this bike, I have brought about a change in my diet as well. I eat two healthy meals every day with healthy snacks in between. I love to munch on walnuts and almonds. So these are the staple snacks that I eat daily. Boiled chicken, boiled broccoli is another constant in my meal. At times, I opt for steamed fish and half boiled egg as well. It brings about a variety to the meal and I feel good.
To all those who are looking for ways to lose weight in an effective way can try out the Electric Commuter Bike. It is really very useful. If dieting is not your thing and even if you diet you don’t get the desired results then stop them altogether. Rather start eating healthy meals. Eat them in good portions but not too much. Take note of the portions you eat. Initially it may be difficult to do it but slowly you will develop enough confidence to carry it out. If I can do it and achieve results so will you.
