Unlike many male accessories which are best kept simple, although stylish, cufflinks give you the perfect opportunity to express yourself. There are almost unlimited pairs to choose from if you go looking on the internet, and you can buy a pair for as little as £12 or £15 or you can splash out and spend several thousand pounds.

When we say that there are an almost endless number of different cufflinks for men, we mean it. If you go and search for cufflinks on Amazon, for instance, there are 48 pairs to a page and – wait for it – 400 pages! Yes, there are a few duplicates, but nonetheless that is approaching 20,000 pairs of cufflinks and that's just on Amazon. You could spend all day on there and probably end up totally confused by the sheer number of different designs.

Some of the manufacturers will also produce cufflinks with your own design on them. So you can have personalised cufflinks that you can wear to promote anything that you wish. You might want to support your local football team, promote a sport in which you have interest, promote your business, or anything else at all. Let's suppose you own a florist: why not have a bunch of roses or carnations on your cuffs?

Perhaps you support the RSPB, the RSPCA, the Dogs Trust, Macmillan, the WWF, or one of dozens of other charities. You can have cufflinks produced with their logo on them in order to show your support. How about a pair of gold cufflinks for your golden wedding anniversary, or silver ones for the silver? A pair with rubies in them for the ruby anniversary, and so on?

You can buy cufflinks to show your support for your country, such as a pair with the Union flag on them or a pair with an English, Scottish, Welsh, or Irish emblem. So you might want the English Oak or the Three Lions if you are English, The Scottish Thistle if you are Scottish, the Welsh Dragon, the Shamrock, and so on. Some cufflink manufacturers may well have these among their stocks already.

There are lots and lots of animal cufflinks that you can find, with just about every animal that you can think of. Kangaroos, koala bears, deer, monkeys, the bull (the symbol of Texas), the legendary dragon, dinosaurs, the American bald eagle, (which isn't bald at all but just looks as if it is because it has white feathers on its' head), another mythological figure – the griffin, whales, porpoises, horses, dogs of all different varieties, cats, - you name it: whatever animal takes your interest there is a pair of cufflinks out there somewhere that caters to it.

Then there are cufflinks that cover certain trades or occupations such as marine cufflinks with a symbol of an anchor on them and another pair which have a sextant, the traditional navigational instrument used by sailors which was later adapted for use by aeroplane pilots in the 1920's.

Looking for a present for that gardener in your life? How about a pair featuring a watering can, a fork and trowel, the lawnmower, a pair of roses that really are shaped like rose blooms in stunning red, and even a pair featuring those garden inhabitants, your garden gnomes. Yes, they are in there too!

What about a maple leaf design if you happen to be Canadian or have a friend who is? Or perhaps you know someone who is mad keen on American football: it is America's favourite sport and is one of the most watched sports in the world. You can get a pair of cufflinks in the shape of the American Football featuring the red, white, and blue colours of the American National Football League.

If you are English, why not have a St. George and the Dragon pair of cufflinks. These are silver cufflinks which show St. George rescuing a princess who was due to be sacrificed in order to protect her city from the beast and would have been had it not been for St. George. He is depicted in silver on a red background, slaying the dragon with his lance, and his feast day of April 23rd still endures to this day.

Wimbledon Cufflink company is a leading designer and manufacturer of cufflinks for men which include some of the cufflinks described above. The company can also create personalised cufflinks with your own designs on them.
