4 Key Tips To Make Phone Battery Last Longer
Most of us are on our smartphone almost all throughout the day. The first thing that we check after we get up is our smartphone. The usage has increased so much that on most days you will find that your phone’s battery life gets over quickly. No matter how many times you charge it, the battery does not last that long. Before you think of replacing your phone or think of taking it for mobile phone repairs Newcastle why don’t you try out the following tricks to see if there is some difference or not?
Turn Off Vibrations: most of us like to keep our phone on vibration because you get the notification without your phone going off in a loud sound. When you are in the office or in a movie theater, you need to keep your phone on silent because you don’t want to give away when you are getting calls or receiving messages. You can keep your phone on silent but then you will not know when the phone rang or you received a WhatsApp. When you keep the phone on vibration there is no sound but the vibrate make you aware of the incoming contact. But most of us are unaware of one thing. When we keep our phone on vibration, there is faster battery consumption. Don’t keep your phone on vibration for some days and see if there is any change.
Dim Your Screen: most of us keep the display screen light on full mode so as to see the images and videos in full clarity. But do you really need the light on full glare during daytime? Reduce the light and see if you face any issue. You can keep the screen light low at all times. Too much screen light on the eye is also not good. If you keep the screen light on full mode, it ends up consuming more battery.
Shorten Screen Timeout: if you really want to preserve battery then shorten the screen time out. By this we mean that you should decide for how long the screen light would be on once you are done using the phone. The longer the duration of the screen light the higher the consumption of battery. So we suggest that you reduce the duration.
Keep your apps on standby mode when you are not using it: if you check your smart phone, you will find multiple apps running on it. Right from the social medias to the different photo editors and so on – all these are apps that you have installed on your phone. If you do not keep them on standby mode they will go on consuming the phone’s battery as long as it is switched on. Thus we recommend that the apps, which you don’t use, that frequently, keep them on standby mode. This way there will be less battery consumption.
Why don’t you try these out today and see if your phone’s battery lasts longer or not? If not then you need to take it for mobile phone repairs Newcastle.
