Car rental – while there are major car rental agencies at Suvarnabhumi airport, renting a car is not necessary or advisable for a trip to Pattaya. Also, necessary documents such as an international driving permit, valid driver’s licence and vehicle insurance is required to drive on Thailand roads.
Private Transfer by hotel car— Most hotels will offer to arrange a car to pick you up at the airport and bring you to the hotel. They often commission these private car services then charge a premium for arranging it.
