Car upholstery dashboards and steering wheels will suffer due to heavy sunlight and heat burning on them regularly. If you have to park in the sunshine during summer days, then you need to protect your car’s interiors. You can go for a windshield. This is usually something that folds out and folds up easily and stored behind the seat. If you put up a shade every time you use the car and will cut down the sun’s rays and can reduce a bit of the heat, you can use it for both front windows as well as at the back.

Of course, you have to check your local regulation whether you can go for tinting as some of the jurisdiction does not allow for tinted windows for safety as well as other reasons.

· It is ideal always to park your car under the shade, especially when it is very hot. In someplace, this is possible there are car parks lined along a park or in neighbourhoods that has lot of trees. If the shade of the tree is not available, you can even go for building a shade.

· When there is excessive fluid evaporation due to parking it under sun then your car’s battery life will be reduced. In case, the battery needs liquid top-ups, then add distilled water as and when needed.

· The coolant should be topped up when needed. But you should not open the radiator cap when the car is running hot and should wait for an hour for the car to cool down.
