ISO 50001 is is an energy management system guidance. It provides specifications that have been developed by the international organisation for standardization in order to implement an Energy Management System. This ISO 50001 standard provides requirements for developing implementing and thereafter managing and improving Energy Management System. The purpose of this energy management system is to help an organisation to establish a systematic process in order to achieve continuous improvement in energy performance indicator.
