Astrology is a very important word in Hindu mythology and It is also called Vedic astrology, Whenever we Indians want to start any auspicious work, we always prefer to know about the right date and time to begin the work.
Vedic astrology prediction is a common thing for a Hindu.

So, What is Vedic astrology and how a Vedic astrology prediction is done in India, this article is related to all about these terms, If you are a Hindu and believes in this kind of system, then do read this article to the last point to get some more information about astrology.

So, we will begin our topic by knowing about what is Vedic astrology.

What is Vedic Astrology?

According to Hindu mythology, before doing any kind of auspicious work, they believe to get the full information about when and how to start the work from a Jyotish (Astrologer), and this is known as Vedic Astrology and this prediction is known as Vedic Astrology Prediction, there is another definition of Vedic Astrology and that is,

It is also known as ancient Indian Science system which generally explain the motions of every planet and describe their positions with respect to time and what will be the effects of these on Humans and Other Entities on the earth, Vedic Astrology can be traced Thousands of years back, In the previous time astrology was only based on the movement of Planets with respect to Stars, but later on it’s started including Zodiac Signs as well.

Now, we will learn about the prediction and how it is done.

How Vedic Astrology Prediction is done?

Even though, I am a novice and don't have too much knowledge about this but I will try my best to make you understand about this method which is used for predicting our future through looking at our horoscope.

First of all an astrologer takes a close looks at your horoscope and after meditating they tell us the story.

The ascendant sign and It's lord placement is noted down, Any kind of aspects and conjunction on your ascendant sign is also noted, The signs falling in your house is also noticed by the astrologer.

The sign and nakshatra of the Moon and its conjunction and aspects are also noted along with this the Sun and also other planets like Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Rahu and Ketu are also noted.

House lordship and there placement are noted.
For example: - If for Sagittarius rising, Mercury is in Libra, the 7th and 10th lord is in 11th house.
Each house has different values and meanings such as each planet and sign has.

According to the steps which is mentioned above the basic meanings and the nature of every planet is noted down for prediction.

There are so many tools which are being used for prediction; one of the tools is called Vimshottari Mahadasha i.e. planetary time periods. All of the above mentioned planets have various kinds of role in certain part of our life. There is further division in a single Mahadasha, called Antardasha and Pratyantar Dasha.All the planets play a role in Antardasha and Pratyantar Dasha.

Astrologer also looks at divisional charts for further confirmation of their predictions. However these charts can also give wrong indications if the person birth time and date is inaccurate. There are many more divisional charts which come into play if the birth time is accurate up to seconds.

After doing all these steps, a certain pattern is drawn with the help of intuition, which suggest a specific timing of an event. Predictions are given on the basis of reading these patterns and the nature and condition of the planets.
