However, at the edge of the city called Hudaibiya, the treaty was signed between Muslims and the representatives of the Quraysh. Treaty was agreed on the following conditions:

• There would be no hostility between Muslims and the Quraysh army for the next 10 years.

• Any individual who would join Muhammad (SAW) and to enter into an agreement with him would be free to do so. Similarly, any individual who would join the Quraysh and to enter into an agreement with them would be free as well.

• If any Makkan went to Madinah, the Muslims would return him to Makkah. On the other hand, if any Muslim from Madinah went to Makkah, he would not be given back.

• The Muslims would go back the recent year without performing Umrah, yet the following year they would be allowed to enter Makkah.
Though they were not allowed to perform Umrah, however, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) came out of ihram, shaved his head, and went back to Medina. So, this is also included the first Umrah of Prophet (SAW). Some of the Sahaba were not happy with the treaty, but soon it ensured peace.

Second Umrah: Since the treaty could not reach its actual time period as Quraysh violated the treaty. So, Prophet (SAW) along with plenty of Sahaba entered Makkah without any resistance as Muslims were in power. In this way, Makkah triumphed without any bloodshed, so Prophet Muhammad (SAW) performed the second Umrah in the 7th AH or 629 CE.
