Cubic Zirconia is indeed a stone that is loved by all and due to its low price is it being such a gemstone which is being used in most of the metals such as gold and platinum too. The cubic zirconia looks good on every coloured metal no matter it is silver or gold or copper, and these days there are women who are very fond of hip hop earrings and the craze of the Cubic Zirconia (CZ) jewellery was highest during the time of early 80s. But these days this stone is created in the laboratories with the use of zirconium and metal oxide and by heating the zirconium with the metal the process is followed by a cooling process too. And with the help of this process more than 50 million carats of cubic zirconia was made and they were developed by the scientists of Soviet Union. These days these gemstones are being compared with the diamonds and that is why they are being made harder as diamonds to make them look similar and also behave somehow same in terms of glitters and shine. And CZ has made it successful too in this aspect and it is really tough to distinguish between the two until and unless you check them under the microscope.

The other similarities

These glittering stones are not as hard as diamonds but they definitely weigh more than diamond even when the size of the stone is of same size. The real diamond is not always colourless but the cubic zirconia is and the CZ can be made in all kinds of colours just by mixing different metal oxides. They can be easily used as a replacement of real diamonds and are widely used in expensive jewellery in hip hop earrings. And there are many people who are looking this stone just to decrease the huge budget of diamond jewellery but they are enjoying the same bling with a very nominal price that may be one part of a fraction price of the diamond. It is not that the wealthy people do not wear CZ , but they too wear this stone as they are very much in trend and the fashionable never stay behind to follow the trend, no matter it is not expensive. They are used in all kinds of jewellery such as necklaces, pendants, bracelets, rings and earrings and many others. They are also being used in men’s ornaments too, and being found in colourful options they are being more attractive and are in great demands. They are being the cheaper option to some very expensive looks and this is being the best reasons that people are buying them.
