Specification

Samsung has released two flagship products this year, and the Galaxy S6 will enjoy more sales. The Galaxy S6 Edge will be a review of our review of swing able foldable phones in five years, but only if the idea of a curved screen is needed.

With flagship specifications and stunning design, the Galaxy S6 Edge is undoubtedly the best advertisement for curved screens, but to be successful, it must do more than just look at the parts, it must be a really useful design decision. Is it also? Or do you better stick to the standard Galaxy S6?

Design

With the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung has finally stepped onto the stage and launched a smart phone with a high-quality design, two of which are better to see.

Both phones feature an ultra-slim body, and the S6 Edge is only 7.0 mm thick and has a metal frame and a glass back cover. They all have a slightly curved shape on many Samsung phones, and the curved screen on the S6 Edge just adds it, making it last longer and enjoyable.
The screen helps it maintain a normal S6 above the head and shoulders of the exterior department, making it one of the best looking phones and certainly one of the most unique phones. Sadly, like the standard Galaxy S6, it is not waterproof or dustproof.

Screen

If you're thinking about the Galaxy S6 Edge, it's almost certainly because of the screen, because in most other respects, this is just a higher-priced Galaxy S6.

This is where things get a bit more complicated because the screen is both exciting and disappointing. First, it's exactly the same as the screen on the Galaxy S6 because it's a 5.1-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 577 pixels per inch.

Let's break this. For most people, 5.1 inches may be a good size, big and not too big. Coupled with QHD resolution and extremely high pixel density, it is also one of the clearest screens, and its Super AMOLED technology ensures its richness and vibrancy. But it also goes beyond the screen of the Galaxy S6 because it is curved. This achieves a few things.

But this is a fairly small feature, the edges are too small and there is not enough room to do other things. Some media applications allow them to display their controls on them, which is useful because it keeps the home screen tidy, but this is the most they can do.

Given that the phone starts at around £670 (about £70 more than the already expensive Galaxy S6), it turns out to be tricky when the extra features are so small.

In some ways, it can even take a step back from the Galaxy Note Edge, which may have only one curved edge, but at least it is large enough to serve as a suitable second screen. Still, for many people, it looks really good.

Power

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a 64-bit eight-core Exynos 7420 processor with a quad-core clock frequency of 2.1GHz and a quad-core clock frequency of 1.5GHz.

This is a slightly surprising setup, as most new flagships have introduced the Snapdragon 810, but Samsung's Exynos chip looks a bit powerful, it comes with 3GB of memory, so the S6 Edge is also a multi-tasking champion.

Camera

The Galaxy S6 Edge also has an impressive camera. There is a 16 megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, which can shoot up to 2160p at 30fps, so whether you're taking photos or shooting, this phone can do the job, even at the most challenging Under conditions, such as insufficient light or poor exercise.

Interface

The Galaxy S6 Edge uses Samsung's Touch Wiz interface, but it's not as you know it. After listening to past versions of criticism, the company has removed various menu layers, pop-ups and other bloats, color coding the whole thing, so different types of applications are paired together, adding clear descriptors, before blurring Icons and allow you to disable many pre-installed apps.

Feature

Is the curved screen not enough? In this case, you may be happy to hear that Samsung has added a new and improved fingerprint scanner to the Galaxy S6 Edge.

It can now work like Apple's Touch ID scanner, just by placing your finger on the Home button to scan and unlock the device. It also works well because it is fast and accurate and ultimately becomes the truly preferred solution for any other security option offered.

Battery Life, Memory And Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a 2600 mAh battery, which is quite small for mobile phones of this size and power, and it is displayed in use. Unless you watch the video for ten hours in a row, you can get a full day of usage, but it won't last the next day, in fact you will be lucky if it lasts until the next morning.

In Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a beautiful phone. It's powerful, with an excellent camera, stunning clarity and rich screens, a good interface and some powerful features like fast charging and fingerprint scanners.

It's so close to the full package, but a slightly mediocre battery makes it disappointing. In addition, it is very expensive even compared to the Galaxy.
